Every image begins with a click — sometimes from a Nikon, sometimes from an iPhone, and always from a mind that refuses to leave well enough alone. What starts as a photograph quickly becomes layered with apps, software, and a healthy dose of imagination until it’s transformed into something that might look like a crisp, traditional photograph or like Monet had a fever dream. Often, it’s somewhere wonderfully in between.
Gail holds a Master of Liberal Arts degree from Metropolitan State University, which means she has the academic credentials to justify spending hours staring at clouds and calling it research.
When she finally tears herself away from the creative vortex, she is lovingly anchored by her husband and an impressively chubby cat, both of whom serve as essential reminders that the world also contains things like dinnertime and reality.
