Colleen gave up her graphic design business over 20 years ago to pursue ceramics full time. She took her first course at the Northern Clay Center, and has since received a non-traditional education in ceramics, through concentrated coursework, intensive workshops and informal mentorships. She has benefited from the generosity, camaraderie and inspiration of the Minnesota clay community.
Her work celebrates the historic ceramic tradition of employing decorative botanical themes, while making an intimate connection to my rural surroundings.
